Organized in 1913, the IFFCBANO, a non-profit organization, has grown over the years to encompass U.S. Treasury licensed customs brokers and Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) licensed international freight forwarders (IFF) who are Regular Members of the Association and Associate Members who are individuals regularly engaged in transportation related business or international trade services. The customer base of member firms includes thousands of importers and exporters in North America. IFFCBANO Member firms have acquired a reputation for providing a reliable, efficient and honest service, handling cargo through all U.S. Ports.

The Honorary Life Member award is presented bi-annually during the annual International Trade Symposium. It is given to persons who have distinguished themselves by outstanding contributions, vision, leadership and dedication as demonstrated during their career in the promotion of international trade in the Gulf Coast region.
